Webinar: Don't get hooked by phishing schemes

The UA Security Matters team will present a webinar, “
Phishing — Don’t Get Hooked!
” at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5. This will be the second webinar in a series offered this
October, which is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This webinar offers an overview of different phishing techniques, how to recognize and avoid them, and samples of recent phishing scams that have been reported across the university. Phishing involves sending fake emails that look legitimate to get people to reveal information such as passwords and credit card numbers.
