Volunteer for Love Your Community Day

Students can pick among three volunteer opportunities on Saturday, Feb. 9, during
Love Your Community Day, sponsored by UAF's Student Leadership and Involvement Office.
- The Boys & Girls Club of Fairbanks is hosting its annual Have a Heart Masquerade Ball. Volunteers will help set up the ball's auction from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Green Star of Interior Alaska needs volunteers to recycle electronics from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- The University of Alaska Museum of the North needs volunteers from 11:45 a.m.- 2:15 p.m. during its earthquakes-focused Family Day. Volunteers will welcome visitors, explain activities and crafts, and refill supplies.
Breakfast will be provided to volunteers in the Wood Center multilevel lounge at 10
a.m. Transportation will be provided from the Wood Center around 10:30 a.m.
