Violent intruder response training offered

The UAF Police Department will offer violent intruder response trainings Sept. 21 and 22 on the Fairbanks campus.

The trainings will be on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium and on Thursday, Sept. 22,at 3:30 p.m. in the Murie Building auditorium. Police Chief Steve Goetz will discuss what to expect if a violent intruder enters your office or classroom and tactics you can use to increase your chance of survival.

The trainings will last approximately 45 minutes, with additional time for questions.  Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
