Use your words, a Celebration of Writing event

Celebration of Writing, 'Use Your Words' will take place Oct. 18 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
in the Murie Building on the UAF campus. This interactive writing event is open to
all ages and will include sessions on all aspects of words, from recording digital
stories on a literacy memory to beginning your first novel. Join in on the largest
banagram game in Alaska—or spend some time listening to talks in the auditorium. Writers
are also invited to re-mix fairy tales. Writers are encouraged to bring a laptop or
pen and paper to participate in writing activities. This event is family-friendly
event is free and open to the public.
