URSA seeks new faculty members for review panel

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is seeking new members for the URSA application review panel. Faculty members from
all UAF campuses are invited to participate.
Each year URSA has eight rounds of applications, which include undergraduate student
project and travel awards, mentor awards, and innovative technology and education
awards.
Once the proposals for a particular application period have been received, they are
distributed randomly to four members of the review panel. The panel consists of faculty
from all disciplines in the arts/humanities/social sciences and natural/life and engineering
sciences.
Applications are reviewed and scoring is completed online. Panel members can choose
what application period(s) they wish to participate in. Reviewers typically receive
five to eight applications to review for a given application period.
