URSA opens applications for mentor, community engagement awards

The office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is now accepting applications for two awards.

Faculty, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students are invited to apply for up to $5,000 Mentor Award for undergraduate research and scholarly learning opportunities. Funding may be used for undergraduate student fellowships and travel, services and/or supplies.

Faculty, staff and students are also invited to apply for up to $500 Community Engaged Learning Awards to work with a community partner to explore a need or problem through research or scholarly activity. Funding may be used for supplies, services and/or local travel.

The application deadline for both awards is Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019.
