Barbara Taylor, associate professor of biology in neuroscience, became director of the newly formed Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity program in July. URSA's goal is to promote, facilitate, coordinate and document existing undergraduate research efforts and capacities, and to enable students to pursue varying levels of scholarly engagement from single credit to senior thesis.
