Arctic Observing Summit update
The AOS 2016 will combine invited plenary talks, breakout sessions with invited presentations and discussion contributions by summit participants, with work on specific recommendations and action plans. About 80 white papers have been contributed and will be put online for review by meeting participants in January. Two poster sessions will explore findings from sustained Arctic observations, approaches to observing system design, sensor technologies, community-based observations and a range of other relevant topics. The deadline to submit a poster abstract to the Arctic Observing Summit has been extended to Dec. 15, 2015.
