University Relations

UAF continues to transition from Roxen to a new website platform called OU Campus .

OU Campus is a web content management system that’s fast and easy to use, and is designed specifically for higher education. It’s currently used by hundreds of colleges and universities .

OU Campus was launched at UAF in fall 2018. Many websites have already migrated to the new platform. (See the list below.) If you manage a Roxen website but haven’t yet heard from the Office of Information Technology or University Relations about migrating your site, don’t worry, you’ll be hearing from them soon!

New features

OIT has developed a number of new features to improve the OU Campus experience based on updates to the platform and feedback from users:

  • Multipurpose Card Components (replaces the Callout Box Snippet)

  • Video Component (replaces the Embed Video Snippet)

  • Person Profile Component (replaces Person Profile Snippet)

  • Facebook and Twitter Embedded Timeline Components

  • Image with Caption Component

Training

Training for OU Campus and these new features is available on Blackboard . Just log in with your UA username and password to get access. You can do the training at your own pace, but you’ll need to complete it before you can be granted editing permissions.
