Unmanned aircraft focus of lunch lecture

The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society will host its first quarterly luncheon lecture Tuesday, June 5 at 11:30 a.m. at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge.

Poker Flat Research Range manager Greg Walker will present “Using Unmanned Aircraft as a Remote Sensing Platform in Alaska.”

The event is open to the public. Admission is $20 or $10 for students and military. Tickets are available at the door and include a full lunch buffet. For more information call Franz Meyer at 474-7767.
