UAF trails ready for winter users

The University of Alaska Fairbanks’ North Campus has winter walking and snowshoeing trails that are separate from groomed ski trails. The trail system also includes routes for dog walking and limited biking.
Trail users are asked to watch for signs and consult trail maps to ensure that they are on the appropriate trail for their activity and to avoid damage to groomed ski trails.
Winter trail maps are available at trailheads. Maps and trail conditions can also be viewed online by visiting www.uaf.edu/trails.
