UAF to premiere ‘Strange and Sacred Noise’

The University of Alaska Museum of the North and the UAF Music Department will present the Alaska premiere of the film “Strange and Sacred Noise” Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall on the UAF campus.
The film explores the work of composer John Luther Adams.
The free event opens with a live performance by Ensemble 64.8 and will be followed by a question and answer session with director and museum film curator Leonard Kamerling, composer John Luther Adams and UAF music professor Morris Palter.
