UAF to host lecture on intersection of race, faith, sexuality

The Rev. Jamie Washington will give a public lecture on the intersection of race, faith and sexuality at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Wood Center ballroom.

Washington is the president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, which in 2015 was named one of the top 10 global diversity consultants by The Economist. Washington, an invited instructor at Lancaster Theological Seminary, has served as an educator, administrator and consultant in higher education for more than 34 years. He is also the president and co-founder of the Social Justice Training Institute and past president of the American College Personnel Association.
