UAF to host Alaska Native Case Studies Institute

The Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development will host the Alaska Native Case Studies Institute May 15 – 17 on the UAF campus.

The three-day event is designed to raise awareness about and encouraging the use of Alaska Native Case Studies as an educational tool. Attendants will include faculty members from multiple Alaska universities and educational institutions, as well as case study experts, from both within and outside of Alaska. Staff and faculty are encouraged to attend and help build a foundation for the use of case studies in Alaska as well as a collection of Alaska Native Case Studies that will enhance valuable educational research on Alaska Native populations, cultures and issues.
