More UAF participants sought for the Heart Walk

More than a dozen teams have signed up for the American Heart Association’s Heart
Walk on Saturday, May 14, but more teams and participants are welcome.
The University Fire Department has challenged UAF to raise $45,000 and show its community
spirit by having 24 teams participate this year.
You can either join an existing team or contact Fire Chief Doug Schrage to find out how to create a team of your own. You can also sign up online.
Sign up as a team captain by April 29, recruit five walkers and set a goal to raise
$1,500 and you will receive a free Subway sandwich and be entered to win 10,000 Alaska
Airlines miles.
Each walker who donates or raises $25 will earn a Team UAF T-shirt designed by Todd
Sherman.
