UAF will host the Kids2College program on Wednesday, April 27, when sixth-graders will visit campus to experience a day in the life of a college student.

The students will have just completed a six-week curriculum learning about careers and how to prepare for college.

Volunteers are needed to lead hands-on, 45-minute sessions for groups of 25-30 sixth-graders and their teachers. This is a great way to highlight your program and inspire a future college student.

The following time slots are available on April 27:

  • 10:15–11 a.m.

  • 11:15 a.m.–noon

  • 11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

  • 12:45–1:30 p.m.

Please consider signing up for one (or more!) sessions. If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Munro, associate director of the UAF Financial Aid Office, at akmunro@alaska.edu or 474-1934.
