UAF art professor to lead international symposium

Miho Aoki, UAF associate professor of art, is serving as a chair of the Symposium on Education at the SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 conference.
SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 is organized by the Association of Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. The conference will be held Dec. 5-8 in Macao, an autonomous region of China adjacent to Hong Kong.
The Symposium of Education is a three-day program featuring peer-reviewed academic paper presentations and workshops by computer graphics and video game industry leaders. The symposium is geared toward students, educators and researchers in education fields related to computer graphics and interactive techniques.
