Starting in the spring 2021 semester, military service members, reserves and National Guard UAF students will pay no more than $250 per credit hour for most undergraduate courses. That rate matches the amount provided by the Federal Tuition Assistance benefit, eliminating most out-of-pocket expenses for military students. UAF’s military pricing also removes most fees, and it applies to both in-person and online classes.

UAF also offers resident tuition for military service members, veterans and their dependents. Advisors can help them apply for VA education benefits. In addition, qualifying students may be able to receive UAF credits for military training.

Military service members can also apply for free admission to UAF with an application fee waiver. More information is available at post or base education centers, or by calling the UAF Department of Military and Veteran Services at 907-474-7400.
