Professor to present webinar on reinforced asphalt pavement

Civil engineering Professor Jenny Liu will present a webinar entitled "Performance of Multiaxial Paving Interlayer-Reinforced Asphalt Pavement" on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m.
Asphalt concrete pavement is subject to distinct stresses in cold regions such as
Alaska. Liu's webinar will discuss her recent findings about how to optimize the stiffness,
permeability and crack resistance of such pavement.
The webinar is sponsored by the Center for Environmentally Sustainable Transportation
in Cold Climates and is part of its fall webinar series. Registration is free, and attendees can earn credit for one professional development
hour.
