Chartwells is hosting several specialty days in December. Celebrate Chocolate-covered Anything Day a little early, on Wednesday, Dec. 6. (The official holiday is Dec. 16.) Stop by Dine 49 at 11 a.m. and enjoy chocolate fondue to start the holidays right.

Karen Garrity, a dietician from Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, will be available to talk to students and employees about their health- and food-related questions Thursday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Dine 49.

On Wednesday, Dec. 13, Chartwells will celebrate all December birthdays! Come by and pick up a free cupcake from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Dine 49 in Wood Center.

Also, don’t forget that Dine 49 offers specialty food all week long! The week starts with Meatball Sub Monday and Taco Tuesday. Along with tacos, on Tuesdays you can find jook, or congee, which is a type of rice porridge. Dine 49 also offers Ramen Bowl Thursdays and Enchilada Fridays.
