UAF alumni and friends Mariners game set for Aug. 20

Join University of Alaska Fairbanks alumni and friends for a Star Wars-themed evening
of baseball at Safeco Field in Seattle. Enjoy the game between the Milwaukee Brewers
and Seattle Mariners on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 6:10 p.m., followed by a special showing
of Star Wars Episode IV on MarinersVision. Dress up as your favorite Star Wars character
or, of course, wear blue and gold.
This event is a partnership between UAF and the nonprofit UAF Alumni Association.
The association's exclusive, right-field suite, located next to the UA Southeast alumni
suite, opens at 5:30 p.m.
A limited number of tickets are on sale now:
- Adult UAFAA member, $75
- Adult nonmember, $100
- Child (age 3-12) of member, $50
- Child (age 3-12) of nonmember, $55
- Children 2 and under, free
Tickets include a delicious choice of ballpark menu favorites and nonalcoholic beverages.
A no-host bar is available. This is a great family-friendly event! Following the game,
attendees are invited to stay and watch Star Wars Episode IV.
