UAA provost accepts new position

Mike Driscoll, UAA provost and executive vice chancellor, has accepted the position of president at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, effective July 1, 2012. A national search for the next UAA provost will be launched soon.

Driscoll was hired at UAA in 2006. During his tenure, he led the completion of UAA’s Strategic Plan, provided key leadership and support in the development of UAA’s next generation health programs, helped lead UAA’s accreditation efforts as a pilot institution, worked with the UAA Faculty Senate to establish the University Honors College, and assisted in implementation of the UAA/UAF joint PhD in psychology, UAA’s first doctoral program.
