UAF Human Resources is committed to offering streamlined, efficient processes and effective tools for recruitment and HR services. Due to process improvement efforts of the HR Internal Recruitment Design Team, in addition to other improvement efforts and most importantly your feedback, UAF HR is excited to announce that today is the rollout of the new UA Careers recruitment and myUA talent management systems.

Through these new systems, UA employees are offered efficiency in recruitment and onboarding, talent management and e-learning. The systems also offer robust analytic features for compliance reporting and tracking completion rates for items such as performance evaluations and training.

UA Careers is the applicant site for recruitment and hiring. This system has many new features that are efficient, intuitive and user friendly for more professional-level recruiting initiatives and applicant experiences. Please send applicants to www.uaf.edu/jobs. Recruitments will be managed by hiring authorities through myUA.

MyUA is the single sign-on talent management portal that encompasses recruitment and onboarding, performance management and e-learning features. The recruitment and onboarding portion is now live. The performance management and e-learning modules are expected to be available July 1, 2016. All UA employees have a myUA account. To log-in through single sign-on, go to unialaska.pageu ppeople.com . For quick guides and video tutorials, go to http://www.alaska.edu/hrtraining/myua/.

This is an exciting and positive change for UA, although we expect, as with any new system, there will be some additional adjustments needed as we train new users and continue to customize workflows to meet our needs. Your patience will be greatly appreciated during this welcome transition.

UA Careers and myUA training will be held twice per month. To register, please go to http://www.uaf.edu/training/.

Also, thank you to everyone that participated in the testing and assisted with the implementation of this new system. Your patience and team-spirited approach was invaluable in keeping us on track for go-live.
