UA Board of Regents public testimony Oct. 29

The UA Board of Regents will set aside two hours Monday, Oct. 29, from 4-6 p.m. to listen to Alaskans about issues related to the university or good news from campuses around the state. This is an opportunity to address topics on the board of regents’ November meeting agendas. Committee meetings will be Nov. 1-2. The full board meeting is Nov. 8-9, all held in Fairbanks. Major topics on the board’s November agendas include: approving the university’s FY20 budget, including funding to implement a compensation and benefits plan; approving a policy that puts into place a protocol for delayed reports of misconduct; an update on the university’s timber sales; and a workforce-needs report.

Public testimony will be aired live on KUAC2 at http://kuacii.streamon.fm/ on Oct. 29.
