Come compete against fellow climbers, from beginners to experts, at the annual fall indoor throwdown climbing competition on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Registration is at 11:30 a.m. with the competition kicking off at noon. Climbers compete for free. Men and women will have separate beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions.

All routes will have a top rope, which runs from a belayer on the floor, through an anchor at the top of the wall and back down to the climber. If the climber slips, the belayer stops the fall.

UAF's Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness and other local sponsors will provide sweet prizes.

Student Recreation Center entrance is free for members. Non-members will need to buy a day pass.
