Troth Yeddha' Run for the Park slated Sept. 13

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host the third annual Troth Yeddha' Run for the Park Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m.

The event starts and ends at the park, which is located between the UA Museum of the North and the Reichardt Building on the Fairbanks campus.

Pre-registration is available at Beaver Sports at 3480 College Road and race-day registration begins at 9 a.m. at the starting line. Registration is $20 with all proceeds donated to UA Foundation Troth Yeddha' Park Fund for development of the park. The 5K run is recognized as a Running Club North event and is organized by the UAF College of Rural and Community Development, in conjunction with the club. The event celebrates Alaskan Native history, culture and traditions.
