Training and development survey results available

A report on an employee training and development survey conducted at UAF this spring is available
online.
Some key findings of the survey include:
- A centralized resource for training (training center) should be easy to find and navigate, with transparent reporting capabilities at the employee and department level.
- Employee trainings should be targeted and related to their jobs and career goals.
- Support is needed for supervisors and employees to have productive and timely performance evaluations that support professional development.
- Employees want maps to advance their careers within UAF.
The survey information will allow UAF to better meet the needs of employees during current challenges.
The Training and Employee Development Team will suggest actions to its steering committee that address the findings from the survey. Employees should feel free to continue making recommendations to the team.
