Toy donations for Fairbanks kids needed

December 2, 2013

Cornerstone

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars has partnered with the Salvation Army to collect toys for families in the Fairbanks area. Last year, students, faculty and staff donated just over 150 toys. This year the goal is twice that amount. The number of toy donation drop boxes has doubled to help increase participation. Check the main entrance of your building to see if there is one near you.

Toy donation collection starts on Monday, Dec. 3, and runs through to Friday, Dec.13. The Salvation Army requests only new toys for all ages; however, all toys are welcome. The used toys will be taken to Santa's Clearing house.

Your donation means a lot to the UAF and Fairbanks community.
