Title IX communication study

March 20, 2019

University Relations

A survey on the effect of Title IX communication materials on university students, staff and faculty is being undertaken by a graduate student in the Department of Communication and Journalism. Lindsey Heaney's research study will look at how Title IX informational materials distributed by UAF create dialog pertaining to accusers and the accused. Heaney hopes to learn more about the messages the materials create related to Title IX, the accused, and the accuser.

The survey ends Sunday, March 24, and takes 15-30 minutes to complete.

Any current UAF student or staff or faculty member can participate. Participants can fill out an anonymous survey or contact Heaney at lmheaney@alaska.edu for an interview.

If you have any questions related to this study or participation, email Heaney at lmheaney@alaska.edu or Richard Hum at rehum@alaska.edu.
