Three UAF undergrads win Alaska Space Grant research fellowships

The Alaska Space Grant Program recently awarded research fellowships to three UAF undergraduate students for this academic year:


  • Jacob Butler, UAF. Remote Sensing of Electron and Ion Densities using Lightning Generated Whistlers Observed on Satellites.

  • James Campbell, UAF. Examining Brown Carbon Concentrations in Ambient Air During the Winter.

  • Elijah Simmons, UAF. Proposal to apply Systems Engineering to the Aurora Robotics Team’s NASA Robotic Mining Competition Robot.
