'The Commons' open house

"The Commons" will serve as an inclusive and diverse gathering space for the UAF faith
community, with a focus on student needs.The Center for Student Engagement will hold a grand opening of a new, inner-faith space, located in the upper room of the Lola Tilly building. The event will take place Friday, Feb. 14, from 5-6 p.m. Students, staff and faculty are invited to visit the Commons as the Rev. Jamie Washington opens it for the UAF community.
The Commons is a project is spearheaded by students Claire Swanson and Grace Bolt as part of the inaugural Virgie Dunlap-King Leadership Academy for Social Change.
