Jack Hebert, President of the Cold Climate Housing Research Center, will present the latest research on building energy efficient housing, Tuesday, Oct. 23 as part of the ACEP Community Energy Lecture Series. The information presented is based on their new Sustainable Village partnership with UAF. Designed and monitored with the help of students, this super low-energy student housing development uses experimental building and energy systems along with a light footprint on the land.The lecture will take place at the Blue Loon located at 2999 Parks Hwy at 6 - 7:30 p.m.
