Life has changed at UAF since early March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I find myself reflecting often on all of the people that it has taken to keep our students supported and moving forward this spring. Today I wanted to thank Dining Services, Residence Life, and Student Health and Counseling staff in particular.

These staff members are on the front lines with your students. They have provided safe and accessible meal delivery services and housing to students who still reside on campus. Residence Life has also gone above and beyond working with students to get belongings shipped back to those who did not return.

The staff at the Student Health and Counseling Center continue to be here for our on-campus students, and have set up a suite of telehealth services for all our students, regardless of where they're living now.

Thank you to all the staff in the units for performing your duties at the highest level during this time that students need support the most.
