Technology outage scheduled for March 14-15, 2015

The Office of Information Technology has scheduled a planned outage starting at 5
p.m. on Saturday, March 14, to conduct maintenance. The 24-hour activity will result
in outages to the UA and UAF websites, UAOnline, Google Apps logins, Blackboard, Banner
and other systems.
OIT recommends setting up an alternate login to access your Google Apps@UA email account
during this outage. Simply set up a Google-side password before the outage by following
the procedure at https://www.alaska.edu/google/password-change/. This password is different from the one you use to access Google Apps with an Internet
browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
