Teaching tip: Quiz item analysis

December 10, 2013

Cornerstone

The end of the semester is a good time to review how well your students did on your class assessments and if those assessments actually proved student's understanding based on your stated learning objectives. One type of assessment that you might include in your course are texts and quizzes that students access through Blackboard. Often these assessments are set up to take advantage of Blackboard auto-grading function containing questions like true-false, multiple choice, multiple answer and other question types where specific answers are correct.

In this week's teaching tip, learn how Blackboard's Item Analysis can help evaluate your tests at http://elearning.uaf.edu/go/tt-item-analysis/.
