Teaching Tip: Free simulations enhance science courses

Concept comprehension is a persistent problem in introductory science courses, where students only see concepts at work during lab time. Digital interactive simulations are an innovative way to enhance student learning in science, technology, engineering and math courses that present difficult concepts. Many of these simulations are available as free open educational resources and can easily be incorporated into an existing course structure.
