Teaching tip: Blackboard notifications

July 10, 2012

Marmian Grimes

There may be an occasion when you’d like to be  reminded of activity in your Blackboard course. Perhaps you have a student finishing up an Incomplete grade or you're monitoring progress on who has completed an exam. It's easy to set up email notifications on all, or individual courses you're teaching through Blackboard. You'll get an email when new discussion has been posted, when a test has been taken, or when an assignment has been submitted. Encourage your students to sign up to get notified when you post grades or add some new content.
