"Take care of yourself"

I listened to the chancellor's enrollment forum today. Towards the end Provost Prakash recognized staff and faculty are working hard but we need to remember to take care of ourselves. How are we supposed to do that? We are so understaffed and over worked there is no time to "take care of yourself." Now with the task forces, strategic planning committees, strategic enrollment planning committees, on top of all all the regular committees we have even less time to do our actual jobs. I received an e-mail yesterday from someone I know is on vacation. I work while I am home sick. This is where we are at. No one has time to take care of ourselves, all that leads to is getting farther behind. I am genuinely curious how the provost responds to this because moral is so low we need to know how to take care of ourselves.
