The Review of Infrastructure, Sustainability and Energy Board, also known as the student sustainability board, is accepting applications for new student members. The student-led board helps determine how UAF's student sustainability fee is spent.

The RISE board meets every other week for one hour during the academic year. Members are tasked with selecting sustainability projects for funding and reviewing sustainability programs. RISE has funded over 80 sustainability projects since 2010. Programs paid for by the fee include recycling, UAF Green Bikes, and Nanook Grown.

Serving as a member of the board gives students an opportunity to gain experience, have a say in how the sustainability fee is spent, and make a difference on campus. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Click here to apply!
