The UAF School of Management will offer the Operations Management course BA 360 during a nine-day trip to China for MAYmester 2019.

Students will study in Beijing and Shanghai with SOM instructor Ruth Prato and earn three credits upon completion of the program. During the trip, students will visit cultural sites such as the Great Wall of China. The itinerary also includes tours of local companies and a university to learn about business practices and the college experience in China.

The trip departs on May 6 from Fairbanks (or an airport near the student) and returns on May 14. The first five people to sign up will receive a $200 discount. Scholarships are available for students who apply before Oct. 31.

The total trip cost of $4,180 includes airfare, hotel, in-country travel, entrance fees and some meals; the $4,180 does not cover the course tuition, fees and some other expenses.

Interested students can find more details and apply online.
