Visit the Study Away Fair

October 8, 2014

Cornerstone

UAF offers hundreds of opportunities to "study away" through national and international exchanges, internships and study-abroad programs.

To learn more, join the Office of International Programs and Initiatives on Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Wood Center mall for the fall 2014 Study Away Fair. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Representatives from study-abroad program providers, UAF International Programs and Initiatives staff, and exchange, study-abroad, and National Student Exchange participants will answer questions.

You can earn UAF academic credit while you're away, which may apply to your degree program. From a few weeks in the summer to a semester or two, or more, you'll find a program that works for you. You can even go on more than one program, both nationally and abroad. While some programs do have foreign language requirements, many others are taught in English and/or offer beginning-level language courses. Costs depend on the program and location, but you can use most financial aid on program costs, and there are lots of scholarships available.

Stop by and find an opportunity to expand your education.
