Many staff and faculty have met or worked with veterans or active duty military students, but they might feel awkward or uncomfortable asking about what their experience is like as a nontraditional student at UAF.

On Veterans Day, a student veteran and military panel can give you insight into what what it's like to be a veteran or military student at UAF, and what has helped — and not helped — them be successful. The panel will take place Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m.

This is an interactive session where attendees can ask questions of the students to gain a greater understanding of this unique population. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The panel is hosted by the Department of Military and Veteran Services. Please register online. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
