Oct. 31 deadline for student Title IX and AlcoholEdu training

October 26, 2017

Tori Tragis

The deadline for students to take their mandatory Title IX and AlcoholEdu training is Tuesday, Oct. 31. Please encourage students to complete the training before the deadline. They will not be able to register for classes until the training is complete.

The Title IX training on sex and gender-based discrimination prevention is required of all certificate and degree students, all students who live on campus, and all national and international exchange students. AlcoholEdu training is only for certificate and degree students age 25 or younger.

The trainings should take about two hours in total, and can be taken in multiple sittings. The courses include surveys to help personalize the experience and to measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are anonymous; UAF is not able to see how individual students answer questions in the survey, and all survey questions are optional.
