Student success initiatives update

Members of the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Trustees attended a listening session last week, and they had a lot to say about the importance of building student success. They also weighed in on President Gamble’s student success initiatives.

Coming up:

• The Coalition of Student Leaders will take part in a listening session at 10 a.m., Friday, March 16, via teleconference.


• Kuskokwim community leaders will meet in Bethel Monday, March 19. Their listening session is set for noon at the Kuskokwim Campus.


• Students, faculty and staff at UAA Kodiak College will talk about what they would like to see in their university system on Thursday, March 22.


• The University of Alaska Anchorage is scheduled to host internal listening session meetings on April 2.
