Student retention coordinator position

Does UAF have a position that exclusively deals with overall Student Retention regardless
of income or first generation status, or do they just withdraw from classes and programs
without much objection? I ask because seems like having students meet with a person
who specializes in class and program withdrawal prevention and who can provide holistic
assistance/advice about all how all the discrete parts of student life work together
(financial aid, courseload, student health, employment, student exchange, etc) and
provide support when necessary would be a good idea.
Just a thought.
