A workshop April 8-9 will explore essential statistical methods using a powerful but user-friendly computer program.

Bahareh Barati, a postdoctoral fellow with the Institute of Arctic Biology, will lead the workshop, which is sponsored by the UAF Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity. The workshop will be in 301 Rasmuson Library on the Fairbanks campus.

The workshop will use SPSS software to provide an intuitive approach to basic graphing and statistical analysis. Minimum math is needed and no laptop is required.

For more information, contact Barati at 907-474-7514 or zbarati@alaska.edu. To register, go online to https://zbarati.wufoo.com/forms/stat-workshop/. Download a flier about the statistics workshop here.
