Staff Council nominations now open

Nominations for Staff Council representatives are being accepted for even-numbered
units and three at-large seats. The deadline for submitting nominations is Saturday,
Sept. 30.
As part of UAF's shared governance model, Staff Council serves on behalf of all nonrepresented
regular and term-funded UAF staff to address concerns that affect staff and to coordinate
unified action. Staff Council is your opportunity to participate in the shared governance
at UAF and contribute to the future of our university!
Nominations for the following even-numbered Staff Council unit representative seats
are now being accepted:
Unit 2: CRCD, CTC, eLearning
Unit 4: IAB
Unit 6: CFOS
Unit 8: CLA
Unit 10: CNSM, UA Museum of the North
Unit 12: Administrative Services
Unit 14: IARC
Three at-large representative seats: At-Large Representatives serve on behalf of all
UAF staff represented by Staff Council. Any staff member represented by Staff Council
may nominate any other staff member who is eligible to serve on Staff Council for
an at-large seat. You can also submit a nomination on your own behalf.
