Staff Appreciation Day registration now open

Registration is now open for Staff Appreciation Day, Wednesday, May 15. There are
dozens of sessions focusing on professional development, health and wellness, safety,
and personal development. Visit the chancellor's website to download a session map or to sign up for a session. The deadline for registration
is Friday, May 3.
Vice Chancellor Pat Pitney is sponsoring breakfast at the Wood Center again this year
and we’ll serve hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers and salad bar for lunch beginning
at 11:30 a.m. in the the Lola Tilly Commons. You’ll need to register by the deadline
for meals.
The Longevity and Awards Ceremony will take place at 3:15 p.m. in the Wood Center
Ballroom followed by an ice cream social. The names of longevity recipients are posted
at www.uaf.edu/chancellor/appreciation/. During the awards ceremony, we’ll also announce the winner of this year’s Chancellor’s
Cornerstone Award, selected from staff and faculty nominations from across UAF.
Please take time to thank a staff member for all he or she does throughout the year
for UAF!
