April 17, 2017

University Relations

SpringFest Service offers some of the finest and most festive ways to give back to your campus and community on Friday, April 21.

Participants this year can volunteer at:

  • the Georgeson Botanical Garden.

  • the Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living (spring cleaning).

  • the Fairbanks campus (cleanup).

  • the Boys and Girls Club (more spring cleaning).

The annual volunteer event is organized by the Leadership, Involvement and Volunteer Experience Office.

Volunteers will get bomb breakfast burritos, donuts, snacks and juice boxes, along with full-sized fanny packs.

Registration, free breakfast and fanny pack distribution will start at 9 a.m. in Wood Center's multilevel lounge or outside if weather permits. Service work will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 11:30 a.m. Transportation to off-campus sites will be provided.
