Solar workshop to be held in Anchorage

The Alaska Solar Energy Workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. on April 30 at
the NANA Development Corp. building, 909 West Ninth Ave., in Anchorage.The forum promotes the exchange of information about best practices, performance of systems in the Arctic, project development and financing, and lessons learned about solar energy. It will also explore the uses and benefits of solar energy for Alaska residents, businesses and communities.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks' Alaska Center for Energy and Power organized the workshop.
